MoveSpring is a huge fan of Samsung Health, and we’d love to be able to connect directly! In fact, we already built an integration that would allow us to sync the data from your Samsung Health device into our app. However, Samsung will not approve our license, which prevents us from receiving any of the data despite having the ability to do so.
Options to Participate
We sincerely hope to be able to integrate in the future, but in the meantime, you can still participate in MoveSpring challenges if you use a Samsung device or Samsung Health!

You can download Google Fit for free from the Google Play store and set Google Fit as your device in MoveSpring. Google Fit will allow you to use your phone as a pedometer and will track steps, distance, and minutes totals for you. Once you've downloaded Google Fit and created an account there, you can connect Google Fit to MoveSpring.
If your challenge admins have manual entry enabled for your challenge, you'll be able to select “Manual Entry” as your device. Our Manual Entry option allows you to manually enter your steps from Samsung Health into MoveSpring up to 5 days back.
Send Samsung Health Data to Google Fit using Health Sync
Some of our users have reported success with the third party app Health Sync which sends data from Samsung Health to Google Fit. With this option you will download Health Sync, link it to your existing Google Fit account, then connect the Google Fit app as your device in MoveSpring.
We cannot guarantee that Health Sync will accurately and reliably sync your Samsung Health data to Google Fit. It’s also important to note that the Health Sync app is not free. After a free one-week trial, Health Sync requires a one-time purchase of $2.99 (current pricing may differ).
