We are continuing to monitor for updates from Samsung Health and Health Connect

Our technical team plans to add Google's Health Connect app as a new device option in MoveSpring. This will allow Samsung Health users to pull their Samsung Health data in to MoveSpring.

At this time, we are waiting for updates from Samsung Health and Health Connect before we can proceed with building out this integration. Samsung Health and Health Connect have not provided a timeline on when these updates will occur.

We appreciate your continued patience. We pride ourselves on our user experience and will need ample time to test before we integrate. In the meantime, we recommend checking out these alternatives to participate in MoveSpring challenges.


1/26/23 update:
We are continuing to monitor Samsung Health’s timeline to send step data to Health Connect

As previously mentioned, our technical team plans to add Google's Health Connect app as a new device option in MoveSpring. This will allow Samsung Health users to pull their Samsung Health data in to MoveSpring.

We are currently waiting for Samsung Health to send step data to Health Connect so we can proceed with building out this integration. Samsung has communicated that this should occur by the end of February 2023. Once Samsung Health begins to send step data into Health Connect, we will share another update.

We appreciate your continued patience and recommend checking out these alternatives to participate in MoveSpring challenges in the meantime.


11/18/22 update:
Samsung Health to support sending step data to Health Connect in Feb 2023

Our technical team plans to add Google's Health Connect app as a new device option in MoveSpring. This will allow Samsung Health users to pull in their Samsung Health data to MoveSpring.

At this time, we are waiting for Samsung Health to add the functionality to send Samsung Health step data into Health Connect, which is expected to occur sometime in February 2023.

We are working hard to bring this connection to our users as soon as possible, and we appreciate your patience. In the meantime, you can use one of these alternatives to participate in your challenges. Thank you for your understanding.


10/11/22 update:
A new Samsung Health integration is coming soon

As of early October 2022, Samsung is no longer providing support for their Health Platform app.

Due to this update, MoveSpring is phasing out a connection to Samsung Health that was previously offered via Samsung’s Health Platform app. No new users will be able to connect to Samsung Health via Samsung’s Health Platform moving forward.

If you were previously connected to Samsung Health via Samsung's Health Platform app, your existing connection will not be removed at this time, and you may be able to continue to sync for now. However, since Samsung is no longer supporting Health Platform, syncing may not be reliable and we are unable to troubleshoot any syncing issues related to Health Platform.

Fortunately, a new and improved Samsung Health integration via Health Connect is already in the works. In the meantime, you can use one of these alternatives to participate in your challenges. Thank you for your understanding.
